‘Joyful feeling’ as Tuesday Service celebrates second anniversary
Leaving their cares at the gate to simply hold a vibe, fans of the popular Tuesday Service gathered on Tuesday night at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre to celebrate its second anniversary. For this special occasion, the event moved to a bigger space, giving attendees a chance to ‘fulljoy’ themselves while reflecting on Tuesday Service’s mission to promote reggae and live music. -
Lauryn Hill among first-time nominees for 2026 Rock Hall
NEW YORK (AP): Lauryn Hill, Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Iron Maiden, Luther Vandross and Shakira are some the 2026 nominees for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a wide net that includes rap, metal, R&B, hip-hop, Britpop, blues rock and pop. The hall revealed the list of 17 performer nominees Wednesday, a list that also includes Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Buckley, Pink, New Edition, Sade and the Wu-Tang Clan. -

Former Third World drummer assembles reggae legends for ‘historic’ collab
At the thanksgiving service for Stephen ‘Cat’ Coore last Thursday, the Rev. Astor Carlyle asked a serious question, “Which musician will write a song for Cuba? For Haiti? For those whose rights are trampled upon?” Well, William ‘Willie’ Stewart, former drummer for Third World, told Rev. Carlye after the service that he has such a song, it’s titled Have a Little Faith, and even played it for him. -
Surprise performances for Tuesday Service anniversary tonight
Weekly live music jam session Tuesday Service will mark its second anniversary with a special staging tonight, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre instead of its usual base, The Compound, as part of Reggae Month. Organiser Tom ‘Panic’ Jones, preparations are well advanced to deliver an exceptional live music experience. “We are all in high spirits, everybody is galvanised and ready to go. We are on schedule with everything that we are supposed to get done,” Jones promised.
